State College, Pennsylvania — October 12, 2026 — ViewNexa and Videon today announced the first customer deployments of an integrated live video solution connecting live video capture and processing at the edge with cloud-based management, distribution and monetization.
Following more than a year of development, the companies have connected two critical parts of the live workflow: Videon’s LiveEdge® video capture, encoding and edge processing capabilities and ViewNexa’s distribution and monetization platform.
The result is a simpler way to manage and grow live video operations—from 10 feeds to hundreds—while creating more opportunities to distribute and monetize each feed.
Videon handles live video at the source, providing low-latency encoding and processing, remote monitoring and management, SCTE-35 signaling and applications running directly at the edge.
ViewNexa has integrated the LiveEdge® Cloud APIs, allowing operators to monitor and manage distributed Videon edge encoding devices as part of the broader video workflow. From there, ViewNexa takes over: clipping live feeds into on-demand assets; building linear FAST channels that switch seamlessly between live and VOD; monetizing content through server-side ad insertion (SSAI); and scheduling, localizing and distributing content across FAST, OTT, CTV and other digital destinations.
Instead of treating on-premises capture and cloud operations as separate systems, the integration connects them.
Operators can see what is happening at the encoder, remotely manage their fleet, schedule feeds and manage downstream distribution through a connected workflow. As new sources are added, the same architecture can scale from a handful of feeds to hundreds without fundamentally changing how the operation is managed.

The integration is designed to do more than move video from one place to another.
Once a live source enters the ViewNexa platform, customers can use that content across additional markets and distribution channels, including FAST, OTT and CTV. Live feeds are automatically recorded, and highlight reels can be syndicated for different audiences, creating additional reach and revenue opportunities from the same underlying live production.
Videon’s SCTE-35 capabilities further connect the live source to downstream advertising. SCTE-35 signals can be generated at the encoder edge and carried into ViewNexa’s monetization workflows and FAST channel distribution.
Traditional encoding workflows were largely designed to capture, encode and deliver a video signal. Today’s distributed video operations require more—remote visibility and management at the edge, integration with cloud workflows, and the ability to distribute and monetize content across multiple destinations.
