Black Bear TV picks Videon’s LiveEdge Platform for Sports Streaming.  

Get ready hockey fans, parents and enthusiasts, launching this Fall, Black Bear TV will relaunch its technology stack providing viewers with a higher quality live stream for the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). 

The first mile for live sports events is notoriously difficult to operate at scale.   

Network connectivity problems, high-tech resources needed on premise and multi-vendor integrations drive up technology and resource costs, ultimately limiting the number of cameras, venues and innovation.  

Utilizing the LiveEdge Videon edge platform on premise along with the Visaic set of cloud applications, Black Bear TV will have an easy-to-deploy, affordable solution which will eliminate these challenges. 

Automation is at the center of the strategy, simplifying and standardizing the first mile.
